Meet The Artist

Hi, I’m Kelly—the artist, creative heart, and friendly face behind The Traveling Easel!

Creativity has been part of my life since childhood. Art has always given me a way to express myself, explore new ideas, and find joy in making something with my own hands. Over time, that love of creating grew into a desire to share the experience with others.

As a veteran, Columbus-area artist, and mom of two, I bring creativity, adaptability, and a strong sense of community to everything I do. I created The Traveling Easel to offer approachable, family-friendly art experiences where people of all ages can slow down, connect, and enjoy creating together.

I believe art should feel welcoming, not intimidating. You don’t need experience or special talent—just a willingness to try, have fun, and make the project your own. Whether I’m hosting a paint party, preparing a creative kit, or developing a new design, my goal is to help others experience the joy of creating without the pressure of perfection.

I can’t wait to create with you and share what Good Vibes Over Perfection is all about!
